Indian Lilac, popularly known as “Neem” is known to eliminate the excess production of sebum in the pores. “Narangam”, popularly known as Orange is a fruit whose peels have anti-bacterial, anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties which helps fight acne, excess sebum production and unclogging the pores. It is filled with antioxidants which makes the skin healthy and vibrant. It is also known to prevent oxidative stress on skin, promotes brighter and clears skin which keeps skin-aging at bay.

“Chandan” popularly known as Sandalwood is known for its anti-proliferative, anti-inflammatory, anti-septic and anti-microbial effects. It has a cooling and calming effect on the skin which heals skin aggravation related to exposure from UV light that is known to cause abnormal pigmentation and skin aging. Chickpea is an ancient ingredient that been used in the Indian skin care culture since ages. It has alkalizing properties which keep the pH level of the skin balanced. It is also very absorbent in nature that extracts the excess oil from the skin which helps fight pimples, blackheads, whiteheads etc. Chickpea powder is also known for its cleansing and moisturizing properties which help brighten skin, fading acne scars and prevent early signs of aging.

Take half a tea-spoon of the powder, add the required amount of water/rose water (for cleansing) or milk/green tea/buttermilk (for face pack) to make a paste-like consistency. Evenly apply the paste on your face and neck. Leave it on for 5 minutes, wash and pat dry. For best results follow with Body Bodh’s Daily Glow Magic Potion.
