“Ghrit Kumari” popularly known as Aloe Vera is known for its moisturizing, hydrating and soothing properties. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial features. Aloe Vera has high amount of antioxidants which boosts cell reproduction, repairing of the skin, soothing sunburn and reduction of hyperpigmentation. It also accelerates the production, release of collagen as well as oxidization of skin, which slows down premature skin aging.

Chickpea is an ancient ingredient that been used in the Indian skin care culture since ages. It has alkalizing properties which keep the pH level of the skin balanced. It is also very absorbent in nature that extracts the excess oil from the skin which helps fight pimples, blackheads, whiteheads etc. Chickpea powder is also known for its cleansing and moisturizing properties which help brighten skin, fading acne scars and preventing early signs of aging.

“Narangam”, popularly known as Orange is a fruit whose peels have anti-bacterial, anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties which helps fight acne, excess sebum production and unclogging the pores. It is filled with antioxidants which makes the skin healthy and vibrant. It is also known to prevent oxidative stress on skin, promotes brighter and clears skin which keeps skin-aging at bay.

“Patalpushpam”, popularly known as Rose, whose petals are known to have anti-inflammatory, anti-aging and highly moisturizing properties, regenerates the skin tissue, delaying the signs of aging. It is rich in Vitamin A and C which helps boosting the production of collagen keeping the skin firm, supple, helps in fading scars and hyperpigmentation leaving the skin radiant. Its astringent properties aids in unclogging pores, removal of dirt, sebum, oil as well as minimizing pores and restoring the natural pH level of skin.

“Kadalika”, also known as Banana, whose peel contain Vitamins C, Vitamin E, and Potassium, Manganese, Zinc and Iron. It is known for boosting the skin’s elasticity which helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Its high content of Vitamin C aids to fade dark spots, acne scars, making the skin appear very even and youthful. It also balances the oil content in the skin making it very beneficial for fighting acne.

It is known to absorb excess oil and sebum which cause pimples, acne, whiteheads and blackheads. It also helps in rejuvenation of the skin by stimulating cell re-growth.

Take half a tea-spoon of the powder, add the required amount of water/rose water (for cleansing) or milk/curd (for face pack) to make a paste-like consistency. Evenly apply the paste on your face and neck. Leave it on for 5 minutes, wash and pat dry. For best results follow with Body Bodh’s Hydrating Magic Potion.
