Balancing Face Scrub (Enriched with Lemongrass & Dead Sea Mud Clay)

“Bhustarah” popularly known as Lemongrass is known for its anti-fungal, anti-septic and anti-bacterial properties. While on one hand it sterilizes the skin tissues, on the other hand it also causes strengthening of the skin and toning of the pores. The astringent quality of Lemongrass makes for an effective cleanser by limiting the secretion of oil and the antioxidant properties helps in soothing irritated skin leaving the skin refreshed.


“Maris Limus” also known as Dead Sea Mud Clay is known for its ability to remove deep-rooted impurities and toxins from the skin through exfoliation. It is anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial in nature. It enhances the elasticity of the skin through cell renewal and collagen production which helps in minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It creates a healthy skin barrier which boosts moisture levels which helps in soothing, dehydrated skin leaving it soft, hydrated and plump.

Fuller’s Earth, popularly known as “Multani Mitti” is known for the absorption of excess oil, dirt and sebum from the skin. It deeply cleanses the pores which help in preventing acne, blackheads, whiteheads and pimples. Turmeric boosts collagen production and also strengthens skin’s elasticity which in turn results in regeneration of new skin cells, eventually healing the skin from within giving a natural glow.

Take half a tea-spoon of the powder, add the required amount of water/rose water, to make a paste-like consistency. Evenly apply the paste on your face and neck. Scrub gently for 2-3 minutes, wash and pat dry. For best results follow with Body Bodh’s Balancing Magic Potion.
